Who We Are
We made a decision early on to stay small. Not because we had to - because we believe it's the only way to do this right.
A team of five means every client relationship is personal. Every plan gets our full attention. There's no handoff to a junior associate, no account rep who doesn't know your name, no growing so fast that the people who trusted us first get left behind.
Between us, we've sat across the table from clients during the best moments of their lives and some of the hardest. We've helped families retire with confidence, pass wealth to the next generation, and figure out what comes after a lifetime of building. We don't take that lightly - and we don't take it for granted.
We also happen to live here. We're involved in this community, we know our clients' kids, and we show up at the same events, trails, and tables as the people we serve.

Advice & Strategy
I started in wealth management in 2009. The fallout from the biggest financial and economic crisis since the Great Depression made this a uniquely interesting time to build experience.
Those early days were filled with tough conversations between advisor and client. People were worried about their goals, their progress being diminished, and the challenging state of the world at the time. Times were scary, but we made it through.
The value of those conversations was evident at the time. When things are tough, people need each other. Not even the best strategy can survive without having the right partner to help investors stay committed.
I was lucky enough to understand early on that this is what a financial advisor should do: be a partner in good times and bad.
Over the following years I wore many hats. I served on multiple investment committees, crafted hundreds of client portfolios, completed thousands of financial plans, acted as head of trading, and worked with people through births & deaths, enrollments & graduations, new opportunities & retirements, and everything in between.
I love this work.
To be more clear, "this work” refers to talking with people about their lives, their money, and their time. Then helping fit all of the pieces together.
Everyone is unique and every plan is different. Being a part of it is amazing.

Advice & Strategy
My career began as a guide in the mountains, rivers, and trails of the American West.
I started in Wealth Management in 2020 after completing a Masters degree in Financial Planning. At the time, everything felt uncertain. Parts of the global economy had stopped, yet markets were pushing to new highs from unprecedented stimulus. I remember the fear and I remember the FOMO.
Today, my work is guiding families along their unique journey.
A life altering health issue. An unexpected bonus. Aging parents. Looming retirement decisions.
This is the stuff unique lives are made of. My job is to help families make sound decisions with their money through it all.My favorite part of any endeavor is when things get hard, storms roll in, and you find out who you are walking with. In this work, I have the privilege of knowing well the families I walk alongside, and it’s honor to be there each step of the way.
My wife, Emma, and I live in Lubbock, Texas, with our three children: Finn, Kip, and Scout.

Client Experience
I started my career at a family office in Montecito, CA, just down the road from where I earned my degree in Business and Economics at Westmont College. It was a unique place to begin—working closely with families whose lives were deeply intertwined with their wealth. I quickly realized what I loved most about this industry wasn’t just the strategies or numbers, but the relationships. I found joy in curating experiences that felt personal and meaningful, and in building connections that went beyond the professional.
When I moved to Scottsdale, I joined a wealth management firm where I had the opportunity to spearhead client experience, gifting, and events. It was there I discovered how powerful hospitality can be when paired with financial planning. Whether it was organizing an event, planning a thoughtful touchpoint, or simply listening to a client’s story, I found fulfillment in making people feel seen, known, and valued.
In 2025, I joined Harding Wealth as Director of Client Engagement. My focus is simple: to make the wealth management space better by putting people first. I believe that great client service is about more than good communication—it’s about building community, creating memorable experiences, and making sure every client feels like family.
When I’m not with clients, you can usually find me outside—exploring with my dog, Blue, horseback riding, golfing, or playing tennis.

Financial Planning
Before beginning my career in wealth management in 2022 at Vanguard, I took an unexpected detour after graduating from the University of Arizona. On a whim, I drove from Arizona to Michigan to spend six months painting lines on highways alongside old friends and a road crew. It was humbling, to say the least, but also a rare opportunity to slow down, gain perspective, and appreciate the value of honest, hands-on work. Experiencing life from a completely different vantage point, in a beautiful part of the country, left a lasting impression and understanding.
When I returned home and joined Vanguard, I entered an environment defined by scale, discipline, and a deep respect for long-term investors. I was able to pursue what had always interested me most, helping people plan toward their ideal financial future. Those three years provided a front-row seat to how thoughtful process, clear communication, and behavioral coaching matter just as much as portfolio construction, especially during periods of market uncertainty.
From Vanguard, I moved to a multifamily office structured RIA, where the work became even more personal. I had the opportunity to engage with complex family dynamics, multi-generational planning, and the coordination required when investments, taxes, estate planning, and life decisions all intersect. It reinforced a belief I’ve carried since the beginning: good planning is never just about money.
In January 2026, I joined Harding Wealth, drawn by a shared philosophy around relationships, independence, and doing what’s right for clients through both calm markets and challenging ones.
No two clients are the same. Every plan is different. Being trusted to help bring clarity and structure to something so personal is both highly fulfilling and deeply rewarding.

Client Administration
I began my career in the wealth management industry by spending six years in retirement plan administration, then followed that up with 14 years in fiduciary wealth management practices before joining Harding Wealth in 2020.
Through this experience it became clear how important it is for firms to have streamlined paperwork, organized processes, and a dedicated person for clients to contact when they need something.
Whether it’s providing a quick response for clients needing administrative help with their accounts, or being available to walk someone through their personal Harding Wealth client portal, I love helping clients get organized with their money.
My role with the firm is to help make sure cumbersome administrative processes [like account opening, transfers, online login help, or cash needs] are handled as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Clients have my direct line and are able to speak with the same person every time; we, as a firm, think that’s important.
When I’m not working with clients I love to hike, travel, eat, and read…. all at the same time, if possible.
